...A statement concerning The Mississippi River at Wabasha...
Lansing...McGregor...and Guttenberg Dam 10...

Heavy rainfall overnight, as well as over the past few weeks is
resulting in high water along the Mississippi River. No flooding is
expected at this time, but the river will rise to within a few feet
of flood stage at these locations.

At Wabasha...The stage this morning was 10.27 feet. Flood stage is
12.0 feet. The river is forecast to reach 10.50 feet Thursday
morning.

At Lansing...The stage this morning was 12.19 feet. Flood stage is
17.0 feet. The river is forecast to reach 13.50 feet Friday morning.

At McGregor...The stage this morning was 12.43 feet. Flood stage is
16.0 feet. The river is forecast to reach 13.70 feet Saturday
morning.

At Guttenberg Dam 10...The stage this morning was 10.86 feet. Flood
stage is 15.0 feet. The river is forecast to reach 12.60 feet Friday
morning.
