Weather Summary for Upper Mississippi River Valley
National Weather Service La Crosse WI
334 PM CDT Thu Aug 17 2017

A strong low pressure system was spinning over northern Wisconsin
this afternoon. This low has brought mostly cloudy skies, scattered
showers, cool temperatures, and breezy conditions to the region. Mid
afternoon temperatures were limited to the upper 60s to mid 70s.

Skies will gradually begin to clear from the west tonight as the low
pressure system moves into southern Ontario. Low temperatures will
fall into the upper 50s to lower 60s.

A chance of showers and thunderstorms will slide across the area on
Friday, with highs staying in the 70s. This will be followed by a
period of dry weather and warming temperatures through the weekend.
Most areas will see temperatures rise into the 80s Sunday afternoon.
