High pressure over the Northern Plains allowed skies to become
mostly sunny across the region today. High temperatures ranged
from the single digits below zero across northern Minnesota...to
the lower 20s across southeast Wisconsin.

Under clear skies across the region...temperatures were in the
single digits above and zero this evening. The high pressure
system is expected to remain the dominant weather feature across
the area tonight into Saturday. Clear skies will be the rule
tonight and sunny skies can be expected Saturday.

Low temperatures tonight will fall into the single digits below to
the teens below zero and high temperatures Saturday are expected
to rise into the single digits above zero. The combination of
wind and temperatures will create wind chill values of 15 to 30
below tonight. Wind chill advisories are in effect across much of
the region.
