HOUSTON...WINONA...CRAWFORD...SOUTHWESTERN VERNON AND NORTHERN GRANT
COUNTIES...

AT 1022 AM CDT...A LINE OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WAS ALONG A LINE
EXTENDING FROM ORONOCO TO NEAR LANCASTER...AND MOVING NORTH AT 35
MPH. THE LEADING EDGE OF THIS LINE OF STORMS WAS ACCOMPANIED BY
FREQUENT LIGHTNING AND INTENSE DOWNPOURS. RAINFALL AMOUNTS UP TO A
INCH IN A VERY SHORT TIME COULD CREATE SOME RUNOFF ISSUES AND
PONDING OF WATER.

LOCATIONS IMPACTED INCLUDE...
ROCHESTER...PRAIRIE DU CHIEN...WAUKON...LANCASTER...BOSCOBEL...
CALEDONIA...LANSING...ST. CHARLES...PLAINVIEW...CHATFIELD.

TORRENTIAL RAINFALL IS ALSO OCCURRING WITH THESE STORMS...AND MAY
CAUSE LOCALIZED FLOODING. DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE THROUGH FLOODED
ROADWAYS.

FREQUENT CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING IS OCCURRING WITH THIS STORM.
LIGHTNING CAN STRIKE 15 MILES AWAY FROM A THUNDERSTORM. SEEK A SAFE
SHELTER INSIDE A BUILDING OR VEHICLE.
