...SOME FOG ACROSS THE AREA EARLY THIS MORNING...

PATCHY TO AREAS OF FOG HAD DEVELOPED ACROSS MUCH OF THE AREA EARLY
THIS MORNING...ESPECIALLY ACROSS THE HIGHER TERRAIN OF NORTHEAST
IOWA...SOUTHEAST MINNESOTA AND THE RIDGE TOPS ALONG THE
MISSISSIPPI RIVER. VISIBILITIES IN THE FOG ON SOME OF THE RIDGE
TOPS ALONG THE MISSISSIPPI RIVER WERE BELOW ONE-HALF MILE. THE FOG
IS GOING TO PERSIST THROUGH THE MORNING COMMUTE AT MANY LOCATIONS...
WITH VISIBILITIES EXPECTED TO IMPROVE AROUND AND AFTER 8 AM.

IF YOU ARE TRAVELING EARLY THIS MORNING OR HEADED OUT FOR YOUR
MORNING COMMUTE...BE ALERT FOR CHANGING AND REDUCED VISIBILITIES
DUE TO THE FOG. ALLOW SOME EXTRA TIME TO REACH YOUR DESTINATION.
