...Some Difficult Travel This Morning...

Lingering light snow combined with northwest winds gusting at
times to 30 mph will create some areas of blowing and drifting
snow across portions of southeast Minnesota and northeast Iowa
this morning. Unsheltered open areas are prone to the worst
reductions in visibility, which may drop to one mile or less at
times. In addition, roads will continue to be slippery in spots.
Slow down and exercise caution if traveling this morning as
driving conditions may change rapidly over short distances.
