...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 145 AM CDT
FOR NORTHEASTERN HOUSTON...EASTERN LA CROSSE...NORTHWESTERN VERNON
AND SOUTHWESTERN MONROE COUNTIES...

At 1256 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Coon Valley,
or 7 miles southeast of La Crosse, moving southeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Damage to vehicles is expected.

This severe storm will be near...
  Coon Valley around 110 AM CDT.

Other locations impacted by this severe thunderstorm include Leon,
Portland, Burns, Rockland and Chaseburg.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
