...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 100 AM CDT
FOR SOUTHEASTERN WINONA...CENTRAL LA CROSSE AND SOUTHERN TREMPEALEAU
COUNTIES...

At 1226 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Trempealeau,
or 11 miles southeast of Winona, moving southeast at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Half dollar size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Damage to vehicles is expected.

This severe storm will be near...
  Dakota and Brice Prairie around 1235 AM CDT.
  La Crosse, La Crosse Airport, French Island and Onalaska around
  1245 AM CDT.
  West Salem around 1255 AM CDT.

Other locations impacted by this severe thunderstorm include Medary,
Dresbach, North Side Of La Crosse, Camp Decorah and Stevenstown.

People attending the La Crosse County Interstate Fair should seek
safe shelter immediately!

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of
a building.  This storm may also produce large quantities of hail
that could accumulate on roadways.
