...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 715 PM CDT
FOR GRANT...SOUTHWESTERN RICHLAND AND NORTHEASTERN CRAWFORD
COUNTIES...

At 705 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Richland Center to 6 miles northwest of
Darlington to Galena, moving east at 60 mph.

HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Law enforcement.

IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile
         homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

these severe thunderstorms will remain over mainly rural areas of
Grant...southwestern Richland and northeastern Crawford Counties,
including the following locations: Westport, Excelsior, Preston,
Georgetown and Arthur.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

This is an EXTREMELY DANGEROUS SITUATION. These storms are producing
widespread wind damage. SEEK SHELTER NOW inside a sturdy structure and
stay away from windows.

Intense thunderstorm lines can produce brief tornadoes and widespread
significant wind damage.
