...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 300 AM CDT
FOR NORTHEASTERN HOUSTON AND SOUTHEASTERN LA CROSSE COUNTIES...

At 242 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Coon Valley, or
8 miles southeast of La Crosse, moving southeast at 40 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
         roofs, siding, and trees.

this severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
northeastern Houston and southeastern La Crosse Counties, including
the following locations: Medary, Mound Prairie, Rockland, County
Roads G And H and Irish Hill.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
