...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 300 AM CDT
FOR SOUTHEASTERN WINONA...NORTHEASTERN HOUSTON AND LA CROSSE
COUNTIES...

At 230 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over French Island,
or over La Crosse, moving southeast at 40 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
         roofs, siding, and trees.

This severe storm will be near...
  West Salem around 235 AM CDT.
  Bangor around 240 AM CDT.

Other locations impacted by this severe thunderstorm include Medary,
Burns, New Hartford, Mound Prairie and Rockland.

People attending the La Crosse County Interstate Fair should seek
safe shelter immediately!
