URGENT - WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE

...FREEZING DRIZZLE AND LIGHT SNOW WILL CONTINUE INTO EARLY
AFTERNOON...

.SLIPPERY ROADWAYS HAVE BEEN REPORTED ACROSS NORTHEAST IOWA...
SOUTHEAST MINNESOTA AND SOUTHWEST INTO CENTRAL WISCONSIN DUE TO
FREEZING DRIZZLE AND LIGHT SNOW. MOSTLY LIGHT SNOW HAS BEEN
OCCURRING AND WILL CONTINUE TO OCCUR INTO THIS AFTERNOON NORTH OF
A ROCHESTER MINNESOTA TO MEDFORD WISCONSIN LINE WHERE 1 TO 2
INCHES...LOCALLY UP TO 3 INCHES IS EXPECTED. ALONG AND SOUTH OF
INTERSTATE 94...FREEZING DRIZZLE WILL BE THE RULE. A FEW SLIDE
OFFS HAVE BEEN REPORTED THIS MORNING DUE TO THE GLAZING. LOOK FOR
SOME SNOW TO MIX IN WITH THE FREEZING DRIZZLE THROUGH NOON...BUT
SNOW ACCUMULATIONS LOOK LIGHT WITH LESS THAN 1/2 INCH EXPECTED.
GLAZING WILL BE LESS THAN 1/10 INCH.

AS THE SNOW COMES TO AN END THIS AFTERNOON...NORTHWEST WINDS WILL
INCREASE WITH GUSTS FROM 30 TO 40 MPH. THIS IS EXPECTED TO PRODUCE
SOME PATCHY BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW WHERE HIGHER AMOUNTS OF FRESH
SNOW HAS FALLEN.

* ALONG AND SOUTH OF INTERSTATE 94...FREEZING DRIZZLE WAS CAUSING
  SOME ICY AND SLIPPERY CONDITIONS. LOOK FOR THIS FREEZING DRIZZLE
  TO MIX WITH OR CHANGE TO LIGHT SNOW BEFORE COMING TO AN END THIS
  AFTERNOON. GLAZING OF LESS THAN 1/10 OF AN INCH IS EXPECTED WITH
  SNOWFALL LESS THAN 1/2 INCH.

* LIGHT SNOW WILL CONTINUE INTO EARLY AFTERNOON MAINLY NORTH OF A
  ROCHESTER MINNESOTA TO MEDFORD WISCONSIN LINE. 1 TO 2 INCHES OF
  ACCUMULATION IS EXPECTED WITH LOCALLY UP TO 3 INCHES NORTH OF
  HIGHWAY 29.

* LOOK FOR WINDS TO INCREASE THIS AFTERNOON...GUSTING INTO THE 30
  TO 40 MPH RANGE. PATCHY BLOWING AND DRIFTING OF ANY FRESHLY
  FALLEN SNOW IS POSSIBLE.

* EXPECT SLIPPERY ROAD CONDITIONS INTO THIS AFTERNOON.
