.A WINTRY MIX WILL BE SEEN ACROSS THE AREA THIS MORNING. EVEN
THOUGH TEMPERATURES ARE ABOVE FREEZING SOUTH OF INTERSTATE 90...
THE COLD ROADS ARE CAUSING ICE TO FORM ON UNTREATED ROADS.

FOR THIS AFTERNOON...THE WINTRY MIX WILL CHANGE OVER TO ALL SNOW.
AS THE WINDS GUST OVER 30 MPH THIS AFTERNOON...EXPECT SOME BLOWING
SNOW TO OCCUR IN THE OPEN AREAS AND ON RIDGE TOPS.

ALONG AND NORTH OF THE INTERSTATE 90 CORRIDOR...EXPECT A TOTAL
SNOW ACCUMULATION OF 3 TO 6 INCHES AND THE POTENTIAL FOR A LIGHT
GLAZE.

MEANWHILE FOR THE REMAINDER OF SOUTHEAST MINNESOTA...NORTHEAST
IOWA...AND SOUTHWEST WISCONSIN EXPECT SNOW TOTALS UP TO 2 INCHES
WITH ICE ACCUMULATIONS UP TO A TENTH OF AN INCH.

ROADS WILL BE SLIPPERY. SLOW DOWN AND ALLOW EXTRA TIME TO REACH
