...SNOW WILL CAUSE HAZARDOUS TRAVEL TODAY ALONG AND EAST OF THE
MISSISSIPPI RIVER VALLEY...

.THE PRECIPITATION HAS CHANGED OVER TO ALL SNOW WEST OF A LINE
FROM MARSHFIELD AND NECEDAH WISCONSIN...TO THE LONE ROCK AREA.
MODERATE TO OCCASIONALLY HEAVY SNOW WAS FALLING TO THE WEST OF
THIS LINE...BACK TO THE SOUTHEAST MINNESOTA AND NORTHEAST IOWA
AREAS THAT BORDER THE MISSISSIPPI RIVER. THIS SNOW WILL PREVAIL
INTO THE AFTERNOON HOURS.

ROADWAYS ARE QUICKLY BECOMING SNOW COVERED AND SLIPPERY AS
TEMPERATURES CONTINUE TO FALL. ACCUMULATIONS OF 3 TO 5 INCHES ARE
EXPECTED ALONG THE MISSISSIPPI RIVER VALLEY REGION INTO WESTERN
WISCONSIN TODAY INTO TONIGHT. FARTHER EAST INTO PORTIONS OF
CENTRAL WISCONSIN...SNOW ACCUMULATIONS OF 5 TO 7 INCHES ARE
EXPECTED BY TUESDAY MORNING. IN ADDITION...BRISK NORTHWEST WINDS
OF 20 TO 30 MPH WILL FURTHER HAMPER TRAVEL AND KEEP ROADS SNOW
COVERED WITH SOME BLOWING AND DRIFTING.
