...WINTRY MIX SPREADING NORTH OVERNIGHT WITH ICY TRAVEL...

.A WINTRY MIX OF SNOW...SLEET...FREEZING RAIN...AND RAIN IS SET
TO SPREAD NORTH INTO THE AREA LATE TONIGHT AND MONDAY. WITH THE
ONSET OF PRECIPITATION...UNTREATED ROADS AND WALKWAYS WILL BECOME
SLIPPERY RATHER QUICKLY. THIS IS GOING TO IMPACT THE MORNING
COMMUTE FOR AREAS NEAR AND SOUTH OF INTERSTATE 90...WHILE AREAS
FARTHER NORTH WILL SEE WINTRY PRECIPITATION DEVELOP DURING THE
AFTERNOON AND EVENING.

PRECIPITATION WILL ARRIVE ACROSS NORTHEAST IOWA AND SOUTHWEST
WISCONSIN BETWEEN 2 AM AND 6 AM...INTO THE INTERSTATE 90 CORRIDOR
BETWEEN 6 AM AND 9 AM...THEN NORTH TO THE WABASHA MINNESOTA TO
OSSEO AND BLACK RIVER FALLS WISCONSIN AREAS MONDAY AFTERNOON.
GROUND TEMPERATURES REMAIN QUITE COLD...WHICH WILL RESULT IN FAST
ICE ACCUMULATION ON ROADS...SIDEWALKS...AND PARKING LOTS. TRAVEL
IS LIKELY TO BECOME QUITE HAZARDOUS.
