...BITTERLY COLD WIND CHILLS TODAY THROUGH MONDAY MORNING...

.A WIND CHILL ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT ACROSS MUCH OF THE AREA
TODAY...THEN ACROSS THE ENTIRE AREA TONIGHT THROUGH 10 AM MONDAY.

ANOTHER ARCTIC AIRMASS CONTINUED TO SPREAD ACROSS THE UPPER
MIDWEST EARLY THIS MORNING. TEMPERATURES ACROSS THE AREA AS OF 7
AM WERE MOSTLY IN THE 5 ABOVE TO 5 BELOW RANGE. WITH NORTHWEST
WINDS OF 5 TO 15 MPH...WIND CHILLS ACROSS THE ADVISORY AREA EARLY
THIS MORNING WERE MOSTLY IN THE -15 TO -25 RANGE.

TEMPERATURES WILL REMAIN NEARLY STEADY OR FALL A BIT YET THIS
MORNING. COUPLED WITH SOME INCREASE OF THE NORTHWEST WINDS...WIND
CHILLS THIS MORNING WILL BE MOSTLY BETWEEN -15 AND -30. CONDITIONS
WILL IMPROVE SLIGHTLY THIS AFTERNOON AS TEMPERATURES CLIMB BACK TO
NEAR AND SLIGHTLY ABOVE ZERO BUT WIND CHILLS THIS AFTERNOON LOOK
TO REMAIN IN THE -10 TO -25 RANGE.

WIND CHILLS ARE THEN EXPECTED TO QUICKLY FALL BACK INTO THE -20
TO -30 RANGE THIS EVENING AS TEMPERATURES HEAD BACK BELOW ZERO.
WIND CHILLS BY LATE TONIGHT AND EARLY MONDAY MORNING ARE EXPECTED
TO BOTTOM OUT IN THE -20 TO -35 RANGE AS TEMPERATURES DROP TO 12
BELOW TO 22 BELOW AND NORTHWEST WINDS REMAIN 5 TO 10 MPH.

  TONIGHT AND EARLY MONDAY MORNING. THE COLDEST WIND CHILLS WILL
  OCCUR BETWEEN 5 AND 7 AM MONDAY MORNING.

* THE COLD WIND CHILLS WILL CAUSE FROSTBITE IN AS LITTLE AS 30
  MINUTES TO EXPOSED SKIN.
