...Periods of Snow This Evening...

.Periods of light to moderate snow will continue this evening,
gradually tapering off from west to east after midnight.

This additional snow, when combined with falling temperatures
will likely result in slick roads and hazardous travel at times.
Additionally, continued gusty northerly winds will result in some
blowing and drifting of snow, especially for open areas west of
the Mississippi River.

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 AM CST
SATURDAY...

* Expect periods of light to moderate snow this evening, tapering
  off from west to east after midnight.

* Additional snow accumulation of 1 to 2 inches is expected.

* Some minor blowing and drifting of snow is possible, especially
  across open areas and along ridge tops.

* With new snow and falling temperatures, roads are likely to
  become snow covered and slick.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A winter weather advisory means that periods of snow, sleet, or
freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for
slippery roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while
