...HEAVY SNOW LIFTING NORTH INTO THE AREA...

.A BAND OF HEAVY SNOW CONTINUES TO ADVANCE NORTHWARD ACROSS
NORTHERN IOWA...SOUTHEAST MINNESOTA AND SOUTHWEST WISCONSIN. LOOK
FOR THIS BAND TO APPROACH INTERSTATE 94 THROUGH NOON. A QUICK 2
TO 4 INCHES OF SNOW IS EXPECTED WITH THIS FIRST BAND OF HEAVY
SNOW...WITH TRAVEL QUICKLY BECOMING HAZARDOUS. IT LOOKS LIKE WE
MAY SEE A BREAK IN THE SNOW ACROSS NORTHEAST IOWA INTO FAR SOUTHWEST
WISCONSIN THIS AFTERNOON....THEN PICK UP AGAIN THIS EVENING.

STRONG NORTHEAST WINDS WILL DEVELOP THIS MORNING THEN SWITCH TO
THE NORTHWEST LATE THIS AFTERNOON INTO TONIGHT. THIS WILL CREATE
AREAS OF BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW WITH NEAR BLIZZARD CONDITIONS
POSSIBLE WEST OF THE MISSISSIPPI RIVER.
