...HEAVY SNOWFALL CONTINUES ACROSS THE REGION...

.STORM TOTAL ACCUMULATIONS OF 4 TO 8 INCHES OF SNOW IS STILL
EXPECTED TO FALL TONIGHT. SOME SLEET AND FREEZING RAIN HAS BRIEFLY
MIXED IN ACROSS PORTIONS OF NORTHEAST IOWA...WHICH COULD CAUSE
SOME SLICK CONDITIONS BEFORE IT QUICKLY CHANGES OVER TO SNOW.
SNOWFALL RATES WILL BE INTENSE...WITH 1 TO 2 INCHES FALLING PER
HOUR FOR MULTIPLE HOURS TONIGHT. ROADS ARE SNOW COVERED AND
HAZARDOUS TO DRIVE ON. THERE WILL BE A SHARP DROP OFF IN SNOW
AMOUNTS TO THE NORTHEAST AND SOUTHWEST OF THIS BAND...SO SOME
VARIABILITY SHOULD BE EXPECTED.
