THROUGH THE AREA...WITH THE HEAVIEST SNOW NOW ALONG AND NORTH OF
I-94. SO FAR...3 TO 7 INCHES OF SNOW HAS BEEN REPORTED SO FAR
ACROSS PORTIONS OF NORTHEAST IOWA...SOUTHEAST MINNESOTA AND
SOUTHWEST WISCONSIN. LOOK FOR THE BAND OF HEAVIEST SNOW TO
CONTINUE LIFTING NORTH OF I-94 THROUGH 4 PM. FARTHER SOUTH...SOUTH
OF I-90...LIGHTER SNOW WILL CONTINUE...POSSIBLY MIXING WITH A
LITTLE DRIZZLE OR FREEZING DRIZZLE.

GUSTY WINDS WILL PRODUCE AREAS OF BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW WITH

* LIGHT SNOW...POSSIBLY MIXING WITH FREEZING RAIN OR DRIZZLE WILL
  CONTINUE THIS AFTERNOON. ANOTHER ROUND OF ACCUMULATING SNOW
  MOVES IN LATE TONIGHT.

* AROUND ANOTHER INCH OF SNOW OF SNOW IS EXPECTED THROUGH 4 PM.

* TOTAL SNOW ACCUMULATION OF 5 TO 9 INCHES LOOKS LIKELY THROUGH
  TONIGHT...WITH LIGHTER AMOUNTS SOUTH OF A LINE FROM BOSCOBEL
  WISCONSIN TO STRAWBERRY POINT IOWA. EXPECT ICE ACCUMULATION UP
  TO 1/10 OF AN INCH.

* WINDS GUSTS OF 30 TO 35 MPH WILL CAUSE WIDESPREAD BLOWING AND
  DRIFTING SNOW...ESPECIALLY ON RIDGE TOPS AND IN OPEN AREAS. IN
  ADDITION...SIGNIFICANT REDUCTIONS IN VISIBILITY ARE EXPECTED.

* TRAVEL WILL BE VERY DIFFICULT TO IMPOSSIBLE ACROSS MUCH OF THE
  AREA...INCLUDING DURING THE EVENING COMMUTE.

  THE HEAVIEST SNOW EXPECTED NORTH OF THE I-94 CORRIDOR. THE SNOW
  MAY MIX WITH SOME DRIZZLE OR FREEZING DRIZZLE NEAR THE I- 90
  CORRIDOR DURING THIS AFTERNOON AND EARLY EVENING.

* THE HEAVIEST SNOW RATES WILL CONTINUE NORTH OF I-94 THROUGH 4
  PM... WITH 1 TO 2 INCHES OF ADDITIONAL SNOW ACCUMULATION.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS OF 6 TO 11 INCHES LOOKS LIKELY... HEAVIEST
  IN A BAND FROM ROCHESTER MINNESOTA THROUGH NEILSVILLE WISCONSIN.
  A LIGHT GLAZE OF ICE IS ALSO POSSIBLE IN THE SOUTH.

* WINDS GUSTING AS HIGH AS 30 TO 35 MPH WILL CAUSE WIDESPREAD
  BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW...ESPECIALLY ON RIDGE TOPS AND IN OPEN
