...SNOW TO CAUSE HAZARDOUS TRAVEL TODAY ALONG AND EAST OF THE
MISSISSIPPI RIVER VALLEY...

.RAIN WILL QUICKLY CHANGE OVER TO SNOW FROM WEST TO EAST TODAY AS A
STRONG COLD FRONT SWEEPS ACROSS THE UPPER MIDWEST. WET UNTREATED
SURFACES WILL QUICKLY FREEZE AND BECOME SLICK AS SURFACE TEMPERATURES
DROP BELOW FREEZING AND SNOW BEGINS TO ACCUMULATE. ACCUMULATIONS
OF 3 TO 5 INCHES ARE EXPECTED ALONG THE MISSISSIPPI RIVER VALLEY
INTO WESTERN WISCONSIN TODAY INTO TONIGHT. FARTHER EAST INTO
PORTIONS OF CENTRAL WISCONSIN...SNOW ACCUMULATIONS OF 5 TO 7
INCHES ARE EXPECTED BY TUESDAY MORNING. WINDS OF 20 TO 30 MPH WILL
FURTHER HAMPER TRAVEL AND KEEP ROADS SNOW COVERED WITH SOME
BLOWING AND DRIFTING.

EXPECT TRAVEL TO BECOME HAZARDOUS TODAY AS SNOW ACCUMULATES. THE
EVENING COMMUTE MAY BE PARTICULARLY DIFFICULT. THE SNOW WILL
