URGENT - WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE LA CROSSE WI
700 AM CDT WED APR 16 2014

...LIGHT SNOW TO CONTINUE THIS MORNING...

.LIGHT SNOW WILL CONTINUE TO FALL ACROSS THE NORTHERN SECTIONS OF
CLARK COUNTY INTO TAYLOR COUNTY THIS MORNING. THE SNOW THIS
MORNING IS NOT AS HEAVY OR AS WIDESPREAD AS PREVIOUSLY
ANTICIPATED. AS A RESULT...EXPECT ACCUMULATIONS THIS MORNING TO
ONLY BE AROUND AN INCH.

AS WARMER AIR MOVES IN THIS AFTERNOON...THE SNOW WILL MIX WITH
AND THEN CHANGE OVER TO LIGHT RAIN. HOWEVER...COLDER AIR WILL
MOVE BACK IN TONIGHT CHANGING THE RAIN BACK OVER TO SNOW. ANOTHER
1 TO 3 INCHES OF SNOW WILL BE POSSIBLE TONIGHT. STORM TOTAL
ACCUMULATIONS OF 2 TO 5 INCHES ARE EXPECTED...MAINLY ALONG AND
NORTH OF WISCONSIN HIGHWAY 29.

THERE STILL IS SOME UNCERTAINTY ABOUT THE TRACK OF THE SYSTEM AND
HOW WARM TEMPERATURES WILL BE THROUGH THURSDAY MORNING. IF THE
SYSTEM TAKES A SLIGHTLY FURTHER TRACK TO THE NORTH...THEN SNOW
AMOUNTS COULD END UP BEING LOWER.
