...ROADS BECOMING SLICK AS SNOW FALLS...

.SNOW WAS FALLING ACROSS NORTHEAST IOWA AND SOUTHWEST
WISCONSIN...ADVANCING INTO THE I-90 CORRIDOR. LAW ENFORCMENT
IN SOUTHEAST MINNESOTA AND NORTHEAST IOWA ARE INDICATING ROADS ARE
SLIPPERY AND HAZARDOUS. TRAVEL IS NOT RECOMMENDED.

SNOW TOTALS CLOSE TO 2 INCHES WERE REPORTED ACROSS PORTIONS OF
NORTHEAST IOWA AND SOUTHEAST MINNESOTA AT MID EVENING. SNOWFALL
RATES WERE APPROACHING AN INCH PER HOUR AT TIMES.

ROAD CONDITIONS WILL CONTINUE TO DETERIORATE AS THE EVENING WEARS
ON AND THE SNOW BECOMES HEAVIER...AND MORE WIDESPREAD.

AMOUNTS FOR NORTHEAST IOWA AND SOUTHWEST WISCONSIN WILL RANGE
FROM 4 TO 6 INCHES BY MIDNIGHT...WITH 2 INCHES OR LESS UP TO I-90.

THE SNOW WILL PERSIST THROUGH SUNDAY...WITH THE BULK OF THE
ACCUMULATIONS ENDING BY NOON. TOTAL AMOUNTS OF 4 TO 10 INCHES ARE
EXPECTED...HIGHEST SOUTH OF HIGHWAY 18 IN NORTHEAST IOWA AND
SOUTHWEST WISCONSIN. AREAS OF BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW MAY ALSO
CAUSE ADDITIONAL TRAVEL DIFFICULTIES ON SUNDAY...ESPECIALLY
