...SNOW WILL BE DIMINISHING THIS EVENING...

.LIGHT TO MODERATE SNOW WILL LINGER ACROSS MUCH OF WISCONSIN INTO
THE EVENING HOURS BEFORE TAPERING OFF. AS OF 230 PM...THE
HEAVIEST SNOW WAS FALLING GENERALLY EAST OF INTERSTATE 94. THE
BACK EDGE OF THE MAIN SNOW AREA RAN FROM MONDOVI...TO LA CROSSE...
TO ABOUT BOSCOBEL.

TOTAL ACCUMULATIONS REPORTED UP THROUGH 230 PM ARE MAINLY IN THE
1 TO 2 INCH RANGE...BUT A FEW SPOTS IN NORTHEAST IOWA AND
SOUTHWEST INTO CENTRAL WISCONSIN HAD SEEN 3 TO 3.5 INCHES. WITH
LOWER AMOUNTS EXPECTED...THE WINTER STORM WARNING FOR PARTS OF
CENTRAL WISCONSIN HAS BEEN DOWNGRADED TO AN ADVISORY INSTEAD.

THE SNOW WILL CONTINUE INTO THE EVENING HOURS. THE BACK EDGE OF
THIS MAIN BAND OF SNOW WILL BE SHIFTING EAST SLOWLY...BUT
ADDITIONAL ROUNDS OF LIGHTER SNOWS ARE DROPPING SOUTH ACROSS
MINNESOTA AND MAY AFFECT THE REGION THROUGH TONIGHT.

WITH THE WET SNOWFALL AND FALLING TEMPERATURES...ROADWAYS ARE SNOW
COVERED AND SLIPPERY. THIS IS ESPECIALLY TRUE ON LESSER TRAVELED
ROADS AND UNTREATED SURFACES. IN ADDITION...BRISK NORTHWEST WINDS
OF 20 TO 35 MPH WILL IS RESULTING IN SOME BLOWING AND DRIFTING.
