URGENT - WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE

...SNOW DEVELOPING THIS MORNING AND WINDY THIS AFTERNOON...

.SNOW IS STARTING TO DEVELOP THOUGH THE MAIN ACCUMULATING SNOW
WILL NOT OCCUR UNTIL LATER THIS MORNING. SNOW AMOUNTS LOOK LIKE
THEY COULD BE A LITTLE LOWER DUE TO THIS LATER START OF THE SNOW
WITH THE REGION GENERALLY SEEING 1 TO 3 INCHES BY THIS AFTERNOON.
A WINTRY MIX OF SNOW...SLEET AND FREEZING RAIN REMAINS POSSIBLE IN
PORTIONS OF NORTHEAST IOWA AND FAR SOUTHWEST WISCONSIN THIS
MORNING AS WELL.

AS THE SNOW COMES TO AN END THIS AFTERNOON...NORTHWEST WINDS WILL
INCREASE WITH GUSTS FROM 30 TO 40 MPH. THESE WINDS ARE EXPECTED TO
CAUSE SOME BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW...ESPECIALLY IN SOUTHEAST
MINNESOTA AND NORTHEAST IOWA WHERE CONDITIONS WOULD LEAD TO
DIFFICULT TRAVEL.

EVENING...

* SNOW IS DEVELOPING AND WILL END BY EARLY AFTERNOON WITH THE
  HEAVIEST SNOWFALL RATES OCCURRING THIS MORNING.

* WINDS WILL INCREASE THIS AFTERNOON AND GUST INTO THE 30 TO 40
  MPH RANGE. THIS WILL CAUSE SOME AREAS OF BLOWING AND DRIFTING
  SNOW...ESPECIALLY ON RIDGE TOPS AND IN OPEN AREAS.

* TOTAL SNOW AND SLEET ACCUMULATIONS OF 1 TO 3 INCHES ARE
  EXPECTED.

* PLAN ON SLIPPERY ROAD CONDITIONS...INCLUDING DURING THE MORNING
  COMMUTE THIS MORNING. IN ADDITION...AREAS OF POOR VISIBILITY
  ARE EXPECTED.

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY MEANS PERIODS OF SNOW WILL CAUSE
PRIMARILY TRAVEL DIFFICULTIES. BE PREPARED FOR SNOW COVERED ROADS
