...SNOW SHOWERS AND SOME BLOWING SNOW STILL OCCURRING...

.SOME BLOWING SNOW IS STILL OCCURRING ACROSS PORTIONS OF
NORTHEAST IOWA INTO SOUTHEAST MINNESOTA. WINDS GUSTING INTO THE
30 TO 35 MPH RANGE WAS CAUSING THE BLOWING SNOW AND WHEN COMBINED
WITH THE FALLING SNOW...THE VISIBILITY WAS BEING REDUCED TO
LESS THAN A MILE AT TIMES. WEBCAMS INDICATED NEAR WHITEOUT
CONDITIONS AT TIMES ALONG AND WEST OF HIGHWAY 218 IN MITCHELL AND
FLOYD COUNTIES OF NORTHEAST IOWA WHERE A BLIZZARD WARNING REMAINS
IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM.

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY HAS BEEN EXTENDED UNTIL 6 PM FOR DODGE
AND MOWER COUNTIES IN SOUTHEAST MINNESOTA. FOR THE REMAINDER OF
SOUTHEAST MINNESOTA AND NORTHEAST IOWA...THE WINTER WEATHER
ADVISORY WILL EXPIRE AT NOON TODAY.
