...HEAVY SNOW CONTINUES...

.HEAVY SNOW CONTINUES TO ADVANCE NORTHWARD THROUGH THE AREA. A LOT
OF REPORTS OF 3 TO 6 INCHES HAVE BEEN REPORTED SO FAR ACROSS
PORTIONS OF NORTHEAST IOWA...SOUTHEAST MINNESOTA AND SOUTHWEST
WISCONSIN. LOOK FOR THE BAND TO HEAVIEST SNOW TO EXTEND ALONG AND
NORTH OF I-90 BY 2 PM. IT STILL LOOKS LIKE WE MAY SEE A BREAK IN
THE SNOW ACROSS NORTHEAST IOWA INTO FAR SOUTHWEST WISCONSIN THIS
AFTERNOON...POSSIBLY MIXING WITH SOME DRIZZLE OR FREEZING DRIZZLE THEN
TRANSITIONING TO SNOW AGAIN LATER TONIGHT.

STRONG NORTHEAST WINDS SWITCHING TO THE NORTHWEST LATE THIS
AFTERNOON INTO TONIGHT WILL PRODUCE AREAS OF BLOWING AND DRIFTING
SNOW WITH NEAR BLIZZARD CONDITIONS POSSIBLE WEST OF THE
MISSISSIPPI RIVER.
