At 533 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Prosperity, or 10 miles south of Newberry, moving northeast at 35 mph. ...Boaters on Lake Murray Should Seek Safe Harbor... HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.
