...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 315 PM EDT
FOR PORTIONS OF LIBERTY...LONG AND TATTNALL COUNTIES...

At 253 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Glennville to 10 miles north of Odum, moving east
at 50 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to trees and powerlines.

Locations impacted include:
Ludowici, Gum Branch, and Donald.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 700 PM EDT for southeastern
Georgia.

Increased rotation has been detected and a Tornado Warning may be
needed. Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop
quickly from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado take shelter
in a closet, bathroom or small central room in a sturdy structure.
