This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of central Iowa.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight

Light snow chances will move through the area today, with
accumulations up to around an inch possible over northern areas.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday

A large storm system is expected to affect the area from late
Saturday through early Tuesday with a prolonged period of
intermittent precipitation including snow, wintry mix, rain, and
thunderstorms all likely at times. Moderate to heavy snowfall
amounts and travel impacts are possible over northern Iowa Sunday.
Gusty winds are also expected as this system pushes through, with
values up to 35-45+ mph.
