...Storms with Gusty Wind Moving across Northwest Iowa...

At 341 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Lake Park to Truesdale to near Onawa.
Movement was east at 55 mph.

Winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with the stronger storms,
along with periods of moderate to heavy rain with ponding water on
roads.

Locations impacted include...
Fort Dodge, Carroll, Denison, Estherville, Algona, Emmetsburg, Sac
City, Pocahontas, Rockwell City, Dakota City, Humboldt, Lake City,
Manson, Manning, Laurens, Glidden, Lake View, Dunlap, Gowrie and
Odebolt.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
