...HEAVY RAINFALL MAY LEAD TO LOCALIZED FLOODING FROM CENTRAL INTO
NORTHEAST IOWA...

AT 802 PM CDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED THAT THUNDERSTORMS
REPEATEDLY MOVING OVER THE SAME AREA HAD DROPPED AS MUCH AS 3 TO 4
INCHES...WITH THE HEAVIEST AMOUNTS FALLING ACROSS NORTHERN STORY AND
SOUTHERN HARDIN COUNTIES...NORTHEASTERN HARDIN COUNTY...AND
NORTHEASTERN BUTLER COUNTY. THESE STORMS WERE MOVING SLOWLY EASTWARD
AND RAINFALL INTENSITY WAS DECREASING. AS MUCH AS ANOTHER HALF INCH
OF RAIN IS POSSIBLE YET THIS EVENING. LOCALIZED FLOODING MAY OCCUR
FROM THIS RAINFALL ESPECIALLY IN URBAN AREAS.
