...Gusty Southwest Winds Expected Today...

Strong southwest winds to near 30 mph at times with gusts
approaching 35 to 45 mph at times will be likely for the
remainder of this morning and through most of the afternoon.

Travelers on east west roads especially should be aware of
difficult driving conditions at times. High profile vehicles
should also be especially careful of crosswinds on interstates
and area highways through the day today.

Outdoor burning is also discouraged over this area for the
remainder of the day due to the stronger southwest winds and
higher wind gusts expected through late afternoon. The winds
will lessen during the evening hours with light winds overnight
tonight.
