...PATCHY DENSE FOG HAS DEVELOPED THIS MORNING...

PATCHY DENSE FOG WITH LOCAL VISIBILITY TO ONE QUARTER MILES HAS
DEVELOPED EARLY THIS MORNING. AREA TRAVELERS MAY NEED TO ALLOW
EXTRA TIME TO REACH THEIR DESTINATION EARLY TODAY. THE FOG SHOULD
CONTINUE UNTIL SUNRISE THIS MORNING AND MAY BECOME MORE WIDESPREAD
OVER SOUTHEAST AND PORTIONS OF CENTRAL IOWA EAST OF INTERSTATE 35
EARLY TODAY.

AREA MOTORISTS SHOULD USE LOW BEAM HEADLIGHTS AND ALLOW EXTRA
DISTANCE BETWEEN YOUR VEHICLE AND ANY VEHICLE AHEAD OF YOU. BE
EXTRA CAUTIOUS AT INTERSECTIONS AND RAILROAD CROSSINGS AS DENSE
FOG CAN HIDE ONCOMING TRAFFIC AND APPROACHING TRAINS FROM VIEW.
