...FOG CONTINUES OVER THE REGION EARLY THIS WEDNESDAY MORNING...

FOG...OCCASIONALLY DENSE AT TIMES...CONTINUES OVER PORTIONS OF
SOUTHERN IOWA. FROM TIME TO TIME...AREAS OF DENSE FOG WITH
VISIBILITY UNDER A QUARTER MILE TO NEAR ZERO WILL BE ENCOUNTERED
EARLY THIS MORNING. THE FOG WILL CONTINUE THROUGH THE MORNING
COMMUTE THIS WEDNESDAY MORNING AND BURN OFF BY MID MORNING.

MOTORISTS SHOULD EXERCISE CAUTION WHILE TRAVELING DURING THE
MORNING COMMUTE THIS WEDNESDAY. ALLOW EXTRA TIME TO REACH YOUR
DESTINATION SAFELY...INCREASE FOLLOWING DISTANCE BETWEEN YOU AND
THE VEHICLE AHEAD OF YOU. BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT INTERSECTIONS
AND RAILROAD CROSSINGS IF DENSE FOG IS ENCOUNTERED AS VEHICLES AND
TRAINS MAY BE HIDDEN BY THE FOG.

PATCHY FOG...POSSIBLY DENSE AT TIMES...IS STILL POSSIBLE OVER THE
AREA EARLY TODAY. HIGH LEVELS OF MOISTURE NEAR THE SURFACE AND
LIGHT WINDS WILL COMBINE TO FORM SOME FOG EARLY TODAY. THERE MAY
BE A PERIOD DURING THE MORNING COMMUTE WHEN FOG THICKENS TO UNDER
A MILE.
