...PATCHY FOG FORMING EARLY THIS MORNING...

PATCHY FOG...DENSE AT TIMES...HAS FORMED OVER SOME OF THE RIVER
VALLEYS AND LOW SPOTS IN CENTRAL IOWA. SOME AREAS MAY SEE VISIBILITY
DROP TO AROUND ONE QUARTER MILE FOR A TIME DURING THE MORNING
COMMUTE THIS THURSDAY MORNING. THE FOG IS MOST LIKELY IN LOW LYING
AREAS AND VALLEYS ACROSS THE REGION.

EARLY MORNING COMMUTERS ARE URGED TO EXERCISE CAUTION IF FOG IS
ENCOUNTERED. SLOW DOWN...USE LOW BEAM HEADLIGHTS AND BE MINDFUL
OF INTERSECTIONS AND RAILROAD CROSSINGS...AS ONCOMING TRAFFIC AND
TRAINS MAY BE HIDDEN FROM VIEW BY THE FOG.

THE FOG IS LIKELY TO BEGIN BREAKING UP BY 7 AM AS SUNSHINE WARMS
THE AREA...AND SHOULD TOTALLY DISSIPATE BETWEEN 8 TO 9 AM THIS
THURSDAY MORNING.
