...VERY HEAVY RAINFALL WITH STORMS MOVING ACROSS CENTRAL IOWA...

AT 107 PM CDT...DOPPLER RADAR WAS TRACKING MULTIPLE LINES OF
THUNDERSTORMS NEAR PELLA AND DES MOINES. MOVEMENT WAS EAST AT 30 MPH.

THESE STORMS MAY PRODUCE RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF 1 TO 2 INCHES IN A VERY
SHORT AMOUNT OF TIME. THIS MAY LEAD TO PONDING OF WATER IN POOR
DRAINAGE AREAS AND IN CITIES. FLASH FLOODING MAY BE POSSIBLE IN A
FEW AREAS AND A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MAY BE NECESSARY IN SEVERAL
LOCATIONS.
