...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 430 PM CDT THIS
AFTERNOON FOR SOUTHEASTERN MIAMI COUNTY...

At 1241 PM CDT, While heavy rainfall has ended for the time being...
additional moderate to heavy rainfall is possible this afternoon.
Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have already fallen. Runoff from
earlier rainfall will continue to result in flooding the next few
hours. Law enforcement reported a portion of 363rd Street has been
washed out between Hedge Lane and Victory Road.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Law enforcement reported.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
         highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
         drainage and low-lying areas.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Louisburg, Fontana, New Lancaster and Beagle.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law
enforcement and request they pass this information to the National
Weather Service when you can do so safely.
