.DISCUSSION...

Good morning!

Some light showers will linger across the Oconee this morning out
ahead of the main line of storms which is set to move in late this
afternoon early evening. The local RAWS site has reported less
than a tenth of an inch, but some sites in the surrounding area
have received up to three tenths of an inch.

As far as fire weather goes, winds will be out of the SE at less
than 10 mph for the day. Transport winds will pick up around mid
morning to assist in dispersion issues you may encounter with damp
fuels.

Minimum RH values will fall to around 50% today. Strong upper
level moisture transport may keep them from falling that far
though.

Feel free to reach out to us if you need any more information
regarding today`s burn.
