.DISCUSSION...

This morning will remain overcast. Rain showers currently across
central Georgia will continue lifting northward through this
afternoon. Rain will likely begin at the burn site in the 1-3 PM
time frame with on and off rain showers then persisting through
tonight. Areas of light rain showers will remain possible Saturday
morning and will gradually taper off and end by midday Saturday.
Rainfall totals from today through Saturday morning are forecast
to be around 1 inch. With abundant cloud cover and increasing
showers, RH values today will be lowest this morning around 60
percent and then increasing to 100 percent as rain moves in. Winds
today into tonight will be breezy from the east at 15-20 mph with
gusts up to around 30 mph. Breezy conditions stick around on
Saturday with direction switching to the north. On Saturday, while
showers will end by midday, clouds will stick around until the
evening.Minimum RH values on Saturday will only dip to around 60
percent. Expect sunny and dry conditions to return on Sunday.
