.DISCUSSION...

There is a slight chance for very light rain showers/sprinkles
through midday across northeast ND, which should not cause
wetting rain. However, winds may be erratic near these showers
with occasional gusts to 20 mph. Prevailing winds should decrease
and shift to the west by the time the prescribed burn is
scheduled, with occasional gusts around 15 mph. Warm temperatures
and dry low levels should result in RH values falling to around 25
percent during the afternoon, and winds should begin to increase
again late afternoon into the evening. As winds increase gusts to
around 25 mph will become possible. This may result in a period of
near critical fire weather conditions 3 to 7 PM in the area of
the burn.
