URGENT - WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE

...STRONG WINDS THIS AFTERNOON TO PRODUCE AREAS OF BLOWING SNOW...

.ANOTHER COLD FRONT WILL SWEEP THROUGH THE REGION TODAY. IN ITS
WAKE STRONG NORTHERLY WINDS WILL DEVELOP GUSTING FROM 35 TO 40 MPH
BY LATE AFTERNOON. THE STRONG WINDS WILL PRODUCE BLOWING SNOW OVER
AREAS WHICH HAVE SNOW COVER. VISIBILITY WILL BE REDUCED AND TRAVEL
WILL BE HAZARDOUS.

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN GRAND FORKS HAS ISSUED A WINTER
WEATHER ADVISORY FOR BLOWING SNOW WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM NOON
TODAY TO 7 PM CST THIS EVENING.

* TIMING...AREAS OF LIGHT SNOW THIS MORNING WITH INCREASING NORTH
  WINDS THIS AFTERNOON INTO THE EVENING.

* WINDS...BECOMING NORTH AND INCREASING TO 25 TO 35 MPH WITH
  HIGHER GUSTS.

* VISIBILITY...REDUCED TO A HALF MILE OR LESS IN OPEN COUNTRY IN
  PARTS OF THE COUNTIES WHICH HAVE SNOW COVER.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...ADDITIONAL SNOW ACCUMULATIONS LESS THAN AN
  INCH.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR BLOWING SNOW MEANS THAT VISIBILITY
