This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for south central Nebraska and
portions of north central Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

Primarily between late Saturday night and late Monday night, a
large scale weather system will cross the Central Plains,
bringing a variety of precipitation types to the outlook area.

A few strong to severe thunderstorms will be possible Sunday
afternoon and evening for areas near and south of the Nebraska and
Kansas state line. Hail to the size of quarters and wind gusts to
60 mph will be possible.

As colder air wraps into the system Sunday night through Monday
night, rain will likely transition to snow across at least parts
of the area. It is too early to pinpoint specific snow
accumulation potential at this time, but early signs point to
perhaps at least a few inches being possible, especially within
counties north and west of the Nebraska Tri Cities.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be needed through tonight.
