.Synopsis for Hawaiian coastal waters...
Strong to severe thunderstorms will remain possible across the
coastal waters tonight through Saturday morning as an unusually
strong upper level disturbance moves across the area. A surface
trough will shift southeast and then remain over the central
waters through Sunday. The trough will weaken and dissipate early
next week as high pressure builds in from the northeast.

Hawaiian waters within 40 nautical miles including the channels-

.TONIGHT...East southeast winds 10 to 15 knots. Seas 4 to 6 feet.
Wave Detail: North northwest 4 feet at 9 seconds and east 3 feet
at 7 seconds. Scattered showers with a chance of thunderstorms.
.SATURDAY...East winds 10 to 15 knots. Seas 3 to 5 feet. Wave
Detail: North northwest 4 feet at 9 seconds and east 3 feet at
7 seconds. Scattered showers with a chance of thunderstorms.
.SATURDAY NIGHT...East winds 10 to 15 knots. Seas 3 to 5 feet.
Wave Detail: East 3 feet at 7 seconds and north northwest 3 feet
at 9 seconds. Scattered showers.
.SUNDAY...East winds 15 to 20 knots. Seas 3 to 5 feet. Wave
Detail: East 4 feet at 7 seconds and north northwest 3 feet at
8 seconds. Isolated showers.
.SUNDAY NIGHT THROUGH MONDAY NIGHT...East winds 10 to 15 knots.
Seas 4 to 6 feet. Isolated showers.
.TUESDAY...For Kauai, east southeast winds around 10 knots,
becoming variable less than 10 knots. Elsewhere, east southeast
winds 10 to 15 knots. Seas 3 to 5 feet. Isolated showers.
.WEDNESDAY...South winds 10 to 15 knots, becoming 7 to 10 knots.
Seas 3 to 5 feet. Isolated showers through the night, then
scattered showers through the day.
