nm...
Coastal waters from Surf City to Cape Fear NC out 20 nm...
Waters from Cape Fear NC to Little River Inlet SC from 20 to 40 nm...

At 931 PM EDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Bald Head Island to 7 nm west of Cape Fear
Knuckle Buoy, moving east at 35 knots.

HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater and small hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and
         suddenly higher waves.

Locations impacted include...
Cape Fear Knuckle Buoy, Raritan Wreck, Mount Dirfy`s Wreck, and Bald
Head Island.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Move to safe harbor immediately as gusty winds and high waves are
expected.
