...Dangerous Heat Expected Friday through Saturday...

High temperatures will average in the lower 90s on Friday and
Saturday. When combined with high humidity values, heat indices
will peak in the 98 to 103 degree range on Friday, and around 100
degrees on Saturday. In additional, most locations will not see
temperatures fall below 70 each night through Saturday. Heat of
this magnitude could be dangerous, especially for the elderly,
small children, those with pre-existing health conditions, and
pets.

Those planning outdoor activities later this week and into the
weekend should take frequent breaks in the shade, drink plenty of
water, and limit strenuous activities during the afternoon and
early evening hours when the heat is at its peak. Ensure outdoor
pets have shade and plenty of water. Continue to monitor later
forecasts for updates.
