...A LINE OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL AFFECT SOUTHEASTERN MENIFEE...
WESTERN BREATHITT...NORTHEASTERN LEE AND WOLFE COUNTIES...

At 1218 AM EDT, radar indicated strong thunderstorms were located
along a line extending from High Falls to Chenowee to Crockettsville.
Movement was north at 30 mph.

Winds in excess of 40 mph are possible with these storms.

Locations impacted include...
Jackson, Campton, Simpson, Wellington, Lexie, Fillmore, Pence,
Copebranch, Pine Ridge, Vancleve, Ratlitt, Mariba, Pomeroyton,
Wilhurst, War Creek, Gosneyville, Vada, Elkatawa, Inverness and High
Falls.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may
cause localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
