KNOX...NORTHEASTERN MCCREARY...EASTERN PULASKI...NORTHERN WHITLEY AND
SOUTHEASTERN ROCKCASTLE COUNTIES...

At 849 PM EDT, strong thunderstorms were clustered near Sloans
Valley, or 8 miles southeast of Somerset, moving east at 35 mph.

Winds in excess of 40 mph and pea size hail are possible with this
storm.

Locations impacted include...
Somerset, London, Science Hill, Burnside, Sloans Valley, Fariston,
Pittsburg, Cumberland Falls S.P., Levi Jackson S.p., Moore Hill,
Clate, Bronston, Mount Victory, Goldbug, Dabney, North Corbin, Krupp,
Mershons, Hightop and Hazel Patch.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may cause
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
