A TOTAL OF 3.61 INCHES OF LIQUID PRECIPITATION WAS MEASURED DURING
THE MONTH. THIS AMOUNT WAS 1.57 INCHES WETTER THAN NORMAL. THIS MADE

WHILE THE FIRST 2 DAYS OF MARCH AVERAGED WERE WELL BELOW NORMAL
/AVERAGING 12.5 DEGREES COLDER THAN NORMAL/...MUCH OF THE
REMAINDER MONTH AVERAGED ABOVE-NORMAL.  WITH AN AVERAGE
TEMPERATURE OF 41.3 DEGREES...IT TIED 1973 FOR THE 7TH WARMEST
MARCH.  WITH THE WARMTH CAME...SEVERAL ROUNDS OF PRECIPITATION.
THIS PRECIPITATION AMOUNTED TO 3.61 INCHES WHICH MADE IT THE
9TH WETTEST MARCH AND THE WETTEST SINCE 1992. ABOVE-NORMAL
MARCH TEMPERATURES AND PRECIPITATION ARE FAIRLY TYPICAL
DURING STRONG EL NINOS.
