...Heavy rainfall to bring a flash flood threat to a small part of
east central and south central Minnesota and west central
Wisconsin tonight...

.Thunderstorms were exiting to the southeast of the area early
this morning. The heavy rain threat remains for a small area near
the Mississippi River. Rainfall total amounts of 2 to 6 inches
are expected overnight.

The Flash Flood Watch for portions of Minnesota and west central
Wisconsin has been cancelled. The heavy rain potential has shifted
south of the area.

...FLASH FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 AM CDT EARLY THIS
MORNING...

The Flash Flood Watch continues for

* Portions of Minnesota and west central Wisconsin, including
  the following areas, in Minnesota, Goodhue and Rice. In west
  central Wisconsin, Pepin.

* Until 6 AM CDT early this morning

* Thunderstorms producing excessive rainfall amounts in the 2 to 6
  inch range overnight.

* This could lead to flooding of roads, low-lying areas and
  fast- responding creeks and streams.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead
to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a very dangerous situation.

You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action
should Flash Flood Warnings be issued.
